Underdog is firmly committed to saving the lives of true Underdogs: shelter animals who truly need our help to survive and thrive. We don’t receive any state or government funding. We rely on the generosity of our donors and community partners to cover our overhead costs that our adoption fees don’t cover. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we've raised enough donations to the critical step of acquiring a building that met Underdog’s needs. We are finally positioned to deliver our mission more broadly and in the way that best benefits our community. Now that Underdog's "forever home" is finally a reality, we must pivot and focus on the new challenges ahead. Those challenges include necessary renovations and remodeling of the building, as well as specific equipment needs.
