Say hello to Callie, a sweet, gentle mama who came to us from Oklahoma after being heartbreakingly dumped with her very young babies. We truly can’t imagine how anyone could leave her behind—but we can imagine how loved she deserves to be.
With the help of our amazing vet team Callie received full medical care. During that process, we learned she is FeLV positive.
Let’s talk FeLV, the basics:
• FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) is only contagious to other cats
• It is spread through close, prolonged contact (sharing food bowls, grooming)
• FeLV+ cats should live with other FeLV+ cats or as a single-cat household
• They can live happy, comfortable lives filled with love, naps, snacks, and cuddles
• Many thrive simply by being spoiled rotten and cherished
Callie doesn’t know she’s “different.”
She just knows she loves humans.
She knows soft beds, gentle pets, and soaking up all the affection you’re willing to give. Will you give Callie her furever home?
