Wags & Whiskers 2026
Join us Friday, April 10, 2026 to enjoy an evening of fun at the gorgeous Tinsmith! We'll have a delicious dinner, craft cocktails, music, a wine pull, an amazing silent auction, and so much more. Adoptable pets will be present, too!
All proceeds will go to help Underdog's medical fund so we can help saving more deserving animals in need.

Pet of the Week - Brutus
Brutus has been waiting in foster care since MAY. Let's help him find his forever!

Sweet Brutus (his foster calls him Bruce) was adopted as a baby and later returned when it wasn’t the right fit—no drama, no blame, just not the right fit. Since then? Crickets. And we truly do not understand why.
​
Because here’s the thing: Brutus is a REALLY. GOOD. DOG.
About Brutus:

About 3 years old

BIG lover at about 95 lbs

LOVES people—affectionate, loyal, and eager to please

Knows all the basics: sit, stay, come, lay down, leave it, give—and actually listens

Will NOT steal your food (even if you leave it out )

Treat-motivated = training dream
-
Walks beautifully on a leash and calmly passes other dogs
-
Rides great in the car (quiet, chill, lays down)
-
Not a barker
-
Doesn’t jump on people
-
Will stay off furniture if you want
-
Crate trained AND trustworthy out of the crate

Brutus would do best as the only pet or in a home with an experienced adopter due to some toy/ball guarding. But with very simple management and guidance, he thrives. He’s done well with other dogs in foster carte, is good with older kids, and just sometimes forgets how big he is when he’s having outdoor fun.
​
At the end of the day, Brutus is truly delightful. He just needs someone to finally choose him.
Veterinary Services
We are open to the public offering vet services five days a week, with wellness checks, vaccines, blood work, dental cleanings, spay and neuter surgeries, and surgical mass removals. We also have x-ray and diagnostic capabilities on-site.
