Hey there, I’m Boone – a big ol’ sweetheart who’s mastered the art of chill. Think of me as your loyal, stuffed-toy-loving, blanket-burrowing best friend. I’m not here to run marathons, but I’ll be your biggest fan on the couch and your partner for short strolls or backyard adventures.

I’m living my best foster life with a whole team of dogs – big, small, young rookies, seasoned pros – and I get along with all of them. I’ve even done time with cats and chickens in a previous home, and yep, I passed the vibe check there too.

I like people – men, women, and especially kids over 7. My bark and size can be a bit much for tiny tots, but for older kids, I’m a gentle, goofy pal who’s always ready for some quality lounge time.

Boone is a loyal companion with a heart (and bark) bigger than his body. He’s a little silly, a little stubborn, and a whole lot of love. Once you earn his trust (hint: treats), you’ll have a teammate for life.
 

We are open to the public offering vet services five days a week, with wellness checks, vaccines, blood work, dental cleanings, spay and neuter surgeries, and surgical mass removals. We also have x-ray and diagnostic capabilities on-site.

The staff and volunteers of Underdog founded the Madison Chapter of The Street Dog Coalition to provide free medical care and related services to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

 

At Madison Street Dog Coalition events, free veterinary services are provided for the pets of those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We also provide some additional services, like pet supplies, hygiene and self care products, and more.
